Biosketch

Dr. med Jennifer Ernst is a clinician scientist and head of the Research group MOBILISE situated in the both University Cities of lower saxony- in Hannover & Göttingen, Germany. Furthermore, she is a senior sarcoma surgeon. Trained as plastic surgeon she is coordinating the interdisciplinary outpatient clinic for amputee care since 2015. Recently she moved to the Medical School Hannover where she became head of the division „ Innovations in AmputeeCare“.This division is set up to respond the demand of the care of amputees, especially those with postamputation-pain. The idea is to synergize medical doctors, therapists, researchers, engineers, providers and affected patients to improve both: clinical treatment, research competence and patients early access to disruptive therapy options and innovative approaches.
