Biosketch
Antje Ebert is an instructor and research group leader at the department of Cardiology and Pneumology at the University Medical Center Göttingen. She specializes in cardiovascular cell biology and systems medicine, CRISPR/Cas gene editing and iPSC models. Her research focuses on molecular mechanisms of cardiovascular diseases, in particular dilated and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (DCM/HCM) with the goal to discover and characterize druggable targets.
MedF3 is a divers network for both early career and established female scientists at the UMG and Goettingen campus, supporting professional development. For me, MedF3 is important because it creates a community of like-minded individuals to share experience and knowledge but also advocacy, visibility, and connection.
